Another week goes by and an eventful one at that. The final raised was £396.70 which included the sponsored walk at half term. A fantastic effort by all!
Congratulations to our football team on a really good week. A very unlucky defeat on Wednesday, coming up short in a 2-1 defeat that included a missed penalty. On Thursday however, the tables turned and there was a comprehensive victory in the local derby against Sychdyn. We started well with an early 3 goals, but conceded early in the second half. Some excellent performances form the substitutes meant we came out with a 7-2 victory. 4 goals for Evan, 1 each for the 2 Alex's and one for Alicia.
Respect to all the boys and girls.
I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the 'Glitter Ball' organised by the PTA on Friday evening. My sincere thanks to Messrs Mullarkey, Baker and Turner for their effort in organising a lovely evening. My thats also to those who attended the evening and I hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as I.
Tickets for the Christmas performances are now available. ALL tickets should be requested from the office, with payment, in a CLEARLY marked envelope. MRs Pilkington will then arrange for them to be returned to the children.
Finally for this evening is a reiteration of the gate arrangements in the morning. All monies, letters, etc are to be left at the gate with myself or Mrs Williams. Please ensure you have these in a clearly marked envelope. There should be no reason for parents to then enter school in the morning as I will be there from 8.45. You are welcome to drop your children at school from this time onwards. I hope this clarifies the arrangements and thank you for helping the smooth implementation.
Before I forget! please ensure you are parking away from the school in the morning. Police are monitoring the parking around the school. The arrangements for the gate should alleviate the traffic not add to it.
Many Thanks and Nos da.
