Last week of term

10/18/2015

Well that went quick! We are at the end of our first term back in school. I haven't blogged for a couple of weeks so I have a bit to pass on!
We have had a busy coulee of weeks in school and another one awaits. Last Friday, Tales of Wales gave us three Welsh legends/myths that he children thoroughly enjoyed watching, lots of pictures on twitter.
A big congratulations to our Year 5 footballer who has made the North East Wales girls sad, we are very proud!
As I mentioned it is the last 4 days of term, as remember, there is no school for the children on Friday. We complete the week in Church for our Harvest celebrations. Any donations to the Church/School charity of Foodbank would be gratefully received. We return to school on November the 2nd
We will be implementing a few changes after half term and as ever, we would appreciate some feedback. We are pushing hard on our Healthy Eating agenda and therefore will be requesting that ALL children have a Healthy Snack at break time. Any crisps/biscuits brought in will be eaten after sandwiches at lunch time. We hope that you will join us in supporting this. In addition, we will also be doing some more PE sessions to reinforce the Health message. Another issue I would like your feedback on is the yard in the morning. We have a lot of parents and smaller children on the yard, which is developing or has the potential to be  safeguarding issue for school. Any ideas will be gratefully received.

Over and Out see you all next week

Mr Tennant
