A gentle reminder that next week, week 9.2.15, we will be holding a safer internet day. Our E-Cadets are incredibly keen to show what they are doing in school and to impart information about staying safe online. Please do your best to attend the morning sessions. We have sent out, in the newsletters, dates for our maths courses. To date we only have 3 people attending. These workshops will give you a better understanding of our approach to maths and some hints as to how to help your child in both work and the tests coming up in May.
Also this week we are planning to open our twitter feed in order to allow children to be able to 'tweet' their work to the world! The twitter feed will be open and will allow people to follow our feed. As in our social media policy, no names will be put on our feed.
We will, as always, be very clear on our policy for tweeting. Children will have to show the class teacher a tweet prior to tweeting. I will have control, and will check daily, of the twitter feed to ensure it is safe. We will be giving hints and tips out as we go along, and children will be class 'tweeters' each week. This will, in turn, enable the children to helpfully educate parents on the benefits of twitter in keeping abreast of events and work in school.
