Well another week flies by yet again. We had another busy week this week. Our week was dominated by our involvement in fair-trade week. Thanks to the fair-trade committee and Mrs Chambers for organising. We had a lot of competitions on design a fair-trade bear, Fairtade posters. We also had a Fair-trade breakfast for all of the children on Tuesday and this went really well. I will confirm the amounts raised in our newsletter tomorrow.
Our week next week will finish with the children competing in the regional Eisteddfod. I wish them all the best of luck in the final and hope they can make the National Finals! especially as it is not a long journey to Flint!
Last week I have posted some work on the website for class 4 parents on the chunking method of division. This can be found in class 4 of the 'classes' page.
We are having a big push at the moment on behaviour in lines and ensuring children are ready to go into school. We are identifying those not listening and they are having some 'reflection time' during the next break in order to ensure that it does happen again.
As part of the school newsletter we will be sending out details on our reward system and behaviours. This was requested during our last parent meeting. In addition I hope to send out the results of the parent questionnaires. This will be a lot of paper, but that will only be for those parents who have not requested e-mailing. To those who are emailed they will come as an attachment.
See you tomorrow
