So we reach July and the hectic end to term. There is so much happening so please make sure you aware of the dates.
Last week was trip week. Class 3A and B went to Chester Zoo and had a lovely time and some informative talks on animal teeth.Class 4 went to Stratford and had a fantastic time. The children were very well behaved and really enjoyed their time. I am reliably informed that Mr Jamil will be presenting an iMovie of the trip to the class before the end of term.
Staff are busy creating reports at the moment. We hope to release them on Monday the 11th of July, with parents evening, only of you would like one, on Wednesday the 13th of July. The National Tests data will be released at the same time. These are her now, however, need some analysis before releasing. Also I have posted a video on Twitter which will explain the results.
We have another crammed week. On Friday we will try to do sports day again, the weather looks ok this week so hopefully, we can get away with it this week!. Alternatively, we will try again on Wednesday the 13th and Friday the 15th. If not by then, unfortunately, we will not be able to hold one.
So this week we have a visit from Pc Mark for our Summer visit on anti-social behaviour. On Thursday the drama club will present Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat, hopefully, you will come along to watch that in the school hall at 5pm.
Finally, on Saturday it is the inaugural community Sunday. If you have anything for the Tombola stall, then please bring it into school. I will send out the teams for the cricket tomorrow, if I miss anybody out please let me know. I look forward to lots of you attending next weekend and support this event.
See you Tomorrow
Mr Tennant
